What you will do

• Design, develop, and support Generative AI features for coding assistance, documentation, testing, analysis, and workflow automation.
• Implement and maintain retrieval-augmented generation solutions, including data ingestion, embeddings, vector stores, and search pipelines.
• Build agent-based and tool-invoking workflows with multi-step LLM interactions on approved enterprise platforms.
• Develop APIs and backend services connecting LLMs with internal systems and approved third-party tools.
• Lead prompt design, testing, model evaluation, performance analysis, and iteration for quality, relevance, and safety.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers while providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of systems analysis and/or application development experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Production experience with Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, API-driven development, and Git-based version control.
• Working knowledge of machine learning and large language model fundamentals.
• Experience working within enterprise SDLC, security, and compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing Generative AI solutions in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with Transformer-based models, attention mechanisms, and tokenization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure AI services and Generative AI platforms.
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps tooling, automated testing, responsible AI, data privacy, and model governance.
