Software Development Engineer – Agentic AI

Location: Hybrid in Frisco, Texas, with the ability to commute to the office 3–4 days per week

What you will do

• Design and develop a production generative AI platform supporting cybersecurity products and platform-level features.
• Build, iterate, and harden multi-agent workflows with tool use, inter-agent coordination, and autonomous decision-making for security operations.
• Own features end to end, including development, testing, automation, deployment, and operational health.
• Implement resilient, secure, and performant services for sensitive security operations data.
• Develop OpenTelemetry instrumentation, operational dashboards, and platform health and usage insights.
• Manage production incidents through triage, root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and SLA commitments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python application development experience, including production AI or platform systems.
• Strong Linux, Python debugging, data structures, design patterns, REST and asynchronous Web API experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions or an equivalent.
• Production experience with LLMs and required experience with LangChain, including stateful multi-agent workflows.
• Experience with prompt orchestration, chain composition, agentic AI patterns, vLLM deployment and operation, and MCP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and security research teams.

Nice to have

• FastAPI, Node.js, TypeScript, Gunicorn, Uvicorn, Redis, Kubernetes, and AWS services including RDS, EKS, ElastiCache, and Bedrock.
• Postgres, knowledge graphs such as NebulaGraph, vector databases such as Qdrant, and embedding pipeline optimization.
• OpenTelemetry, Langfuse, or LangSmith experience for agent observability.
• Knowledge of threat detection, EDR telemetry, SOC workflows, SIEM platforms, and incident response.
