Senior AI Engineer

Location: 100% remote anywhere in the United States

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually USD, plus US employee benefits and annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate LLM-powered agents for internal tools, customer-facing features, and workflow automation on Amazon Bedrock.
• Design agent workflows and RAG architectures for team-level use with LangChain and LangGraph.
• Build and operate MCP servers that expose company data and services as structured tools for AI models.
• Define testing, reliability, observability, and on-call practices for major services.
• Build evaluation pipelines with Langfuse and evaluation harnesses, and use prompt versioning to improve cost, quality, and reliability.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, data, and platform teams on agent-based solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including multiple years building and operating LLM or AI agent systems in production.
• Expert Python and service-development skills, including async programming, FastAPI, and Pydantic v2.
• Deep experience designing RAG architectures and agent workflows, preferably with Claude through Amazon Bedrock or the Anthropic API.
• Strong AWS experience with Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and related services.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, Terraform, infrastructure as code, containers, and CI/CD.
• Experience with data layers, identity and application security, production observability, and LLM evaluation.

Nice to have

• Data warehouse engineering with Snowflake.
• MongoDB or other NoSQL/document database experience.
• React and TypeScript experience.
