CRE Loan Closing Specialist Sr.

What you will do

• Manage the full closing process for complex commercial real estate loan transactions.
• Coordinate lenders, borrowers, legal teams, outside counsel, consultants, Credit Administration, and commercial real estate partners.
• Order and review flood determinations, insurance, title commitments, and other due diligence and pre-closing materials.
• Prepare closing statements, loan booking forms, checklists, certifications, and closing files.
• Clear post-closing items and collateral exceptions, maintain accurate loan records, and resolve servicing errors.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior loan closers, resolve complex issues, and support process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years of commercial loan closing or commercial loan administration experience.
• Strong communication skills with lenders, borrowers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Advanced understanding of complex commercial real estate transactions, legal documentation, loan structures, collateral, and closing conditions.
• Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Flood and OFAC controls.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and technical proficiency with loan management software.
