Hardware Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California; hybrid with on-site work three days per week

Salary: $250,000–$400,000 per year

hirify.global is partnering with a well-funded startup developing hardware for high-performance AI compute systems.

What you will do

• Own the definition, design, and validation of compute trays, boards, and interconnects.
• Develop hardware for a rack-scale AI data center platform.
• Design complex, high-density, multi-layer server-class PCBs.
• Apply DFX practices and power and signal integrity best practices.
• Work with high-speed differential data interfaces and serial peripheral interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least five years of industry experience.
• Experience designing multi-layer, high-density, complex server-class PCBs.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout design tools; Altium Designer is preferred.
• Experience with MIPI CSI-2, LVDS, USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Ability to work in Mountain View three days per week.
