Location: Onsite in Groton, Connecticut, United States. Day-shift work includes occasional after-hours or weekend response and onsite support during incidents, emergencies, planned shutdowns, and project execution.
Annual base salary: $99,200–$165,400, plus a 12.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

operates a regulated pharmaceutical R&D campus supporting clinical manufacturing, laboratories, vivarium operations, utilities, and office facilities.
What you will do
- Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise for manufacturing and packaging equipment, systems, and facility support infrastructure.
- Lead asset lifecycle activities covering design, installation, commissioning, maintenance strategy, and obsolescence planning.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Packaging teams to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and performance.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead assigned capital project activities, including scope development, execution, and commissioning.
- Oversee contractors, suppliers, vendor performance, service delivery, and maintenance outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing and packaging, maintenance and engineering operations, and cGMP compliance.
- Experience leading teams or providing technical leadership in a matrix organization.
- Knowledge of GxP facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and support systems, as well as maintenance practices and processes.
- Experience with SLAs, KPIs, fiscal management applications, CMMS, and Microsoft Office.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA.
- Experience with filling, labeling, serialization, PLC, or SCADA systems.
- Experience with reliability engineering, asset management programs, capital projects, or Lean/Six Sigma certification.
