TL;DR
Director, Operational Excellence & Production Systems (Manufacturing): Designing and deploying a scalable Lean Production System to support growth, acquisitions, and operational effectiveness across U.S. ADS Operations with an accent on governance, continuous improvement, and organizational capability building. Focus on leading transformation initiatives, deploying Hoshin Kanri roadmaps, embedding Lean systems into facility startups, and coordinating cross-functional operational readiness.

Location: Currently remote in the United States; transition to an on-site East Coast or Midwest U.S. site is anticipated as project needs evolve, with an expected timeline in 2027. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Travel to EMEA and North America approximately 25–30% of the time.

Salary: $196,700–$232,650 gross annual base salary, plus a performance-related bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead transformation initiatives supporting organic growth, acquisitions, and operational expansion across U.S. ADS Operations.
  • Design, deploy, and continuously improve a scalable Lean Production System aligned with global strategy.
  • Establish standardized management systems, governance routines, visual management, and performance frameworks.
  • Lead Hoshin Kanri strategy deployment, Lean maturity assessments, and multi-year operational excellence roadmaps.
  • Build organizational capability through Lean training, coaching, Kaizen workshops, and structured problem-solving.
  • Partner with E2E Leaders to embed operational excellence into facility design, startup, and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations, operational excellence, or transformation leadership.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 6S methodologies, continuous improvement, and production systems deployment.
  • Experience leading large-scale capital projects and transformation initiatives in complex matrix organizations, including cGMP and biologics manufacturing environments.
  • Ability and willingness to transition to an East Coast or Midwest U.S. site location as project needs evolve.

  • Experience establishing enterprise-wide operational excellence frameworks, governance models, and continuous improvement programs.
