Investment Analyst - Credit Research (Fixed Income)

Location: Hybrid in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, with on-site presence three days per week

Base salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct fundamental credit research on investment-grade and high-yield corporate issuers, sectors, and industries.
• Develop forward-looking credit opinions and analyze financial statements, business models, capital structures, liquidity, leverage, cash flow, and debt service capacity.
• Build and maintain financial models for credit analysis, valuation, scenario analysis, and investment recommendations.
• Identify primary and secondary market opportunities, assess relative value, and present recommendations to portfolio managers and the investment team.
• Monitor portfolio holdings and communicate material developments, including earnings, rating actions, M&A, regulatory changes, and market events.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, analysts, issuer management teams, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies while developing sector expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in investment, credit research, investment banking, leveraged finance, rating agencies, commercial banking, corporate banking, or related financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, credit risk, fixed-income markets, corporate bonds, credit ratings, spread analysis, and relative value.
• Experience building and maintaining financial models and translating independent research into actionable investment recommendations.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex credit issues clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work on-site in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania three days per week as part of the hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with investment-grade and/or high-yield corporate credit.
• Bloomberg experience.
• Knowledge of Derivative Solutions or other portfolio and risk systems.
• Progress toward or interest in pursuing the CFA designation.
