Sales Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, New York; remote role with customer on-site visits and up to 35% travel, primarily across North America

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, shape account strategies, drive deals to closure, and build relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
• Educate customers on event-driven architecture, agentic AI, integration patterns, modernization strategies, and the business value of real-time data.
• Lead demonstrations, workshops, Proofs of Concept, Proofs of Value, hands-on trials, and technical validations.
• Architect solutions using event-driven patterns including publish/subscribe messaging, event sourcing, CQRS, event streaming, choreography, and orchestration.
• Position hirify.global Event Brokers and Agent Mesh against Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, and cloud-native brokers, explaining differentiation in protocols, event meshes, QoS, routing, scalability, and governance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering; provide customer insights for product roadmap decisions and support Agent Mesh adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales or solutions engineering, selling complex enterprise software solutions.
• Experience with banking and capital markets use cases and technology stacks.
• Strong ability to lead technical evaluations and communicate business impact.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, or event streaming platforms such as hirify.global PubSub+, Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or MQTT brokers.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent systems such as LangChain, Google ADK, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and application integration patterns.
• Ability to design and lead technical workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept implementations; willingness to travel to customers and events up to 35%.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of A2A and MCP communication patterns.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, streaming, or messaging middleware.
• Exposure to agentic AI, LLM application development, or multi-agent orchestration platforms.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including security, networking, and compliance considerations.
