Hardware Qualification Lead

Location: Glendale, Arizona, United States; on-site

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global Labs, qualifying next-generation compute, network, and rack hardware before fleet deployment.
• Own the qualification roadmap, including test scope, quality bars, timelines, sourcing coordination, and deployment plans.
• Run lab operations across environments, equipment, processes, and throughput.
• Make fleet standardization and deploy-or-not decisions based on qualification data.
• Engage hardware vendors on roadmaps, escalations, and early-access programs.
• Publish qualification results that support company-wide infrastructure decisions.

Requirements

• Experience leading hardware qualification, systems engineering, or lab teams for compute or infrastructure.
• Experience owning deploy-or-not decisions involving significant financial investment.
• Experience establishing lab environments and disciplined operating processes.
• Ability to engage vendors as a peer on roadmaps, escalations, and early access.
• Ability to communicate results clearly so the organization can act on them.
• Ability to work on-site in Glendale, Arizona.

• Experience with GPU and accelerator systems.
• NPI process experience.
• Failure analysis program experience.
• Hyperscale hardware experience.
