Credit Underwriter Sr - Inventory Finance

Location: Schaumburg, Illinois, United States; position available at any hirify.global Bank corporate office location. Workplace type: Office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. No immigration sponsorship is available.

Salary: $57,000–$124,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Underwrite new and existing commercial loans and prepare high-quality credit narratives.
• Analyze applications, financial statements, balance sheets, tax returns, D&B reports, ratios, and multi-year trends using Moody's software.
• Evaluate operating cash flow, recurring and non-recurring cash sources, borrower and guarantor global cash flow, and collateral including accounts receivable, inventory, real estate, and investments.
• Research industry trends and risks, run credit reports, and gather and analyze KYC information.
• Monitor delinquency trends, repossession activity, and annual financial statement submissions.
• Prepare approval recommendations and alternative loan structures, present proposals to the loan committee, and communicate decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of wholesale or commercial credit underwriting experience.
• Ability to analyze cash flow, leverage, customer strength, and credit risk.
• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Sound business judgment and the ability to protect the bank's interests.
• Current full-time work authorization in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

• Master's degree.
• Experience with transactions ranging from $2 million to $10 million.
• Experience lending across varied industries, loan types, and company sizes.
• Strong technical skills.
