Forward Deployed Engineer (Networking & Security)

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $201,000–$335,000 CAD OTE annually, including base salary and variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead onboarding for strategic enterprise customers and provide training and resources for long-term adoption.
• Support customers with configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution across the hirify.global platform.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews, analyze usage and success metrics, and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, recommending best practices based on customer use cases and business outcomes.
• Represent customer feedback internally and collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and support teams.
• Create technical documentation, FAQs, and self-service guides for customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a technical role, including at least 2 years in a customer-facing position.
• Experience working consultatively with enterprise customers and in a customer-facing technical role at a SaaS company.
• Strong understanding of networking, VPNs, and security principles.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical troubleshooting, prioritization, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
