What you will do

• Deliver first-level technical support for the Blue Planet software portfolio and resolve software and system issues.
• Analyse logs, datasets, and system behaviour to identify root causes and provide structured solutions.
• Collaborate with solution experts, global engineering, R&D, product line management, and account teams to report and resolve defects.
• Develop and document workarounds for product limitations and support interoperability across Blue Planet products and third-party systems.
• Manage multiple customer cases, communicate clearly, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer feedback that informs product enhancements while upholding hirify.global’s technical and quality standards.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, containerization, cloud-native technologies, and Open vSwitch.
• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational experience supporting software applications in customer-facing or post-sales environments.
• Experience with Python and shell scripting for troubleshooting or automation.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse, or graph databases, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware ESXi, KVM, or Xen virtualization platforms.
• Understanding of networking protocols including Ethernet, MPLS, IP, VPN, TCP, UDP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs, SNMP, Syslog, ICMP, and SSH.
• Experience with cloud architectures and monitoring tools such as Nagios or Grafana.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Jira and certifications such as CCNA, Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, or Google Cloud.
