Data Center Capacity Planner

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $119,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Model greyspace capacity across sites, including electrical, mechanical, and support space budgets.
• Track allocation against design as builds evolve to identify constraints early.
• Build source-of-truth views for design, delivery, and operations teams.
• Analyze trade-offs when programs compete for square footage or capacity headroom.

Requirements

• Experience in capacity or space planning for data centers, industrial plants, or utilities.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and single-lines.
• Ability to maintain a source of truth across concurrent changes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to present constraints and options.

Nice to have

• Experience with DCIM tools.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tooling.
• Experience with multi-site portfolios.
