Data Center Site Operations Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in Allen and Fort Worth, Texas, United States; travel to other U.S. data center sites is required.

Annual base salary: $120,000–$145,000 USD, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the tenant fit-out and operational launch of data center facilities, including a 10MW deployment supporting 4,000 GPUs at launch and scaling to 10,000 GPUs.
• Coordinate rack and roll delivery, cabling, network installation, power-up procedures, equipment installation, and hardware inventory.
• Manage vendors, schedules, accountability, and deployment performance.
• Lead onsite data center technicians through maintenance, break/fix, diagnostics, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Develop procedures for uptime, preventive maintenance, incident response, and 24/7 operational support.
• Partner with NetOps, Engineering, and Supply Chain while hiring, training, and mentoring onsite technicians.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data center operations.
• 2+ years of direct people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of racking, cabling, cooling basics, power distribution, and network hardware installation.
• Experience leading installation, maintenance, break/fix, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Strong vendor management, organization, and rapid incident-response skills.
• Ability to support a 24/7 data center environment and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center tenant fit-outs.
• Experience in high-density or hyperscale environments.
• CompTIA, Cisco, Juniper, or similar certifications.
