Data Scientist

Location: Remote, limited to candidates residing in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus potential equity

What you will do

• Own the analytical function for an embedded business area: growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships.
• Define business problems, hypotheses, metrics, and the decisions that analysis should inform.
• Build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface insights that improve key business metrics.
• Present recommendations to product, growth, finance, and operations stakeholders.
• Drive analytical initiatives and recommendations through execution and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently pull, structure, and interpret data.
• Experience with SQL or Python; the primary tools include ClickHouse, Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub.
• Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering business impact.
• Clear, persuasive communication skills and the ability to influence leadership-level decisions.
• Must currently reside in one of the specified U.S. states or Ontario, Canada.
