Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Remote; applicants must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada. Offices are available in Palo Alto, New York, Chicago, and Toronto.

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 base salary annually, plus potential equity.

What you will do

• Define business problems, hypotheses, metrics, and the decisions that analysis should inform.
• Pull, structure, and interpret data independently using SQL and Python.
• Build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface insights that improve key business metrics.
• Embed within growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships and own the analytical function end to end.
• Present recommendations to product, growth, finance, and operations stakeholders and drive execution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth technology company.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SQL or Python.
• Experience owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable business impact.
• Clear, persuasive communication skills with the ability to influence leadership-level decisions.
• Experience with analytical tools such as ClickHouse, Metabase, JupyterHub, and GitHub.
• Current residence in an eligible U.S. state or Ontario, Canada is required.
