What you will do

• Manage complex mortgage files from Closing Disclosure preparation and issuance through final closing documents and loan funding.
• Prepare complete and accurate closing packages, validate fees and closing figures, and submit funding wires within required time frames.
• Coordinate with customers, brokers, settlement agents, loan officers, post-closing, servicing, accounting, audit, risk, and other internal and external parties.
• Review rate-lock and document expirations, system-of-record data, payoffs, subordinations, releases, tax, title, and insurance documentation.
• Investigate complex issues, report system and document problems, and test closing documents and system enhancements.
• Train new employees and peers on products, policies, procedures, and closing requirements while recommending process improvements.

Requirements

• Associate degree and at least 3 years of mortgage experience, including Closing Disclosure issuance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 3 years of relevant mortgage experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage closing processes and regulations, including TRID, High Cost, TILA, and RESPA.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, word-processing, email, communication, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage time constraints, resolve complex issues, and collaborate effectively.
• Notary Public certification.
