Principal Pre-Sales Architect (Airline Enterprise Architecture)

Location: USA, Texas, Houston office; travel globally up to 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead technical strategy and architecture discussions throughout complex airline sales engagements.
• Define future-state architectures, modernization strategies, and commercial transformation roadmaps with airline technology leaders.
• Guide Modern Airline Retailing and Offer & Order transformation initiatives.
• Design enterprise solution architectures integrating hirify.global solutions with complex airline technology ecosystems.
• Lead architecture governance reviews, integration strategy discussions, security evaluations, and technical due diligence.
• Develop reusable reference architectures and technical assets while mentoring architects and strategic consultants.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, integration architecture, pre-sales engineering, professional services, enterprise consulting, or related technical leadership.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers and senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading architecture, integration, security, data, and technology modernization discussions.
• Expertise in enterprise, application, data, integration, and security architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, event-driven architectures, integration patterns, and modernization strategies.
• Clear executive communication, workshop facilitation, architecture governance, and stakeholder influence skills.

Nice to have

• Airline, travel technology, or related industry experience.
• Experience with airline transformation initiatives, RFPs, technical evaluations, and executive architecture workshops.
• Familiarity with IATA NDC and ONE Order standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
