Principal Architect, Managed Services (Cloud and Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the Continental United States; 5% travel required. Must be a US Citizen.

What you will do

• Design and develop the internal Managed Services platform and associated automations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams adopting Git, Docker, Ansible, Python, APIs, and other platform integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation across Managed Services.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and technical stakeholders to capture requirements and evaluate solution options.
• Develop proofs of concept, support pilots, operationalize solutions, and document technical decisions.
• Help identify innovative solutions for production security issues and author technical knowledge-sharing articles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, equivalent work experience, or military experience.
• 6–9 years of in-depth architectural and technical experience.
• Expertise in network infrastructure, security controls, virtualization platforms, and cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Strong Python scripting and programming experience, plus experience with Git, Docker, Ansible, and APIs.
• Deep Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience.
• US citizenship is required.
