Forward-Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: California preferred; other U.S. locations considered. Hybrid work required with travel to hirify.global centers as needed.

Base salary: $181K–$235K annually, plus bonus and equity.

hirify.global provides integrated medical and daily-living support for older adults through the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

What you will do

• Build and deploy production-grade AI agents, copilots, automations, and technology-enabled workflows.
• Develop a unified data and tooling layer on top of the existing infrastructure.
• Own solutions end to end, including data layers, integrations, agent and prompt design, evaluation, interfaces, monitoring, and documentation.
• Embed with care and outreach teams to map workflows, prototype solutions, support implementation, and drive adoption.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities, redesign operational and clinical workflows, and define success metrics for adoption, throughput, quality, and business impact.
• Partner with operations, technology and data, legal, and compliance teams while maintaining privacy, security, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems end to end in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience designing AI agents, prompting logic, and structured evaluations against real-world expectations.
• Strong hands-on engineering skills across the technology stack, with the ability to adapt to new languages, frameworks, and infrastructure.
• Strong product judgment, analytical skills, workflow discovery capabilities, and written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and travel to hirify.global centers as needed.
• Valid California driver’s license, personal transportation, good driving record, auto insurance, required medical clearance, and up-to-date immunizations. U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare services, value-based care, provider or payer operations, Medicare, Medicaid, PACE, or complex care delivery.
• Experience deploying technology-enabled solutions in complex or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Epic, EHR, referral, or enrollment data.
• Forward-deployed, embedded, or solutions engineering experience.
