Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York City

Salary: $90,000–$140,000 USD annually, depending on experience, plus equity, benefits, and an annual performance-based bonus of up to 30%.

What you will do

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI and machine learning.
• Customize and deploy AI-driven platforms for specific client needs.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions based on client feedback and changing requirements.
• Break complex projects into actionable steps and deliver results in ambiguous environments.
• Explore and integrate AI/ML technologies, including large language models and neural networks.
• Provide technical deployment support to clients and share feedback with the internal engineering team to improve the product.

Requirements

• Practical coding proficiency with a focus on delivering tangible business results.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with large language models and prompt engineering.
• Experience with neural networks and machine learning.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and emotional intelligence skills, with the ability to build relationships with external customers.
• Interest in healthcare and demonstrated experience or interest in the medical field.
