Senior Staff Technical Program Manager (Post-Quantum Cryptography)

Location: United States; in-office collaboration with managers and teams coming in 10+ days per month

Salary: $216,000–$270,000 USD annual base salary for positions based in California, excluding equity, bonuses, and additional compensation.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s post-quantum cryptography program from cryptographic asset inventory and risk prioritization through migration execution, targeting Q-Day readiness by the end of 2028.
• Establish and manage a cross-functional PQC working group across XRPL Core, Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, Platform, and InfoSec.
• Coordinate PQC roadmap alignment with custody partners, exchanges, payment processors, and HSM vendors.
• Identify bottlenecks, assess trade-offs, escalate risks, and make data-driven decisions across complex technical initiatives.
• Communicate program status, risks, and progress to engineering leadership and executive sponsors through dashboards and monthly reviews.
• Create technical decision-making frameworks, coordinate testing and release dependencies, and improve Operational Excellence processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of program management experience in sophisticated enterprise technology environments.
• Solid understanding of asymmetric and symmetric ciphers, hashing, and digital signatures.
• Experience coordinating multiple functions, building consensus, influencing without authority, negotiating, and working in a matrixed environment.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Google Sheets, with the ability to use data and analytics to monitor project and system health.
• Experience crafting or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience in Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, and/or Blockchain ecosystems.

Nice to have

• Exposure to post-quantum cryptography, cryptographic migrations, or security- and compliance-driven technical programs.
