Head of Video - Capital

What you will do

• Lead the creation and delivery of video content for Capital, including radio visualisation, original formats, series, and large-scale productions.
• Maintain high production standards through effective video production techniques and workflows.
• Manage video workloads, deciding when to operate cameras or edit directly and when to delegate or bring in additional resources.
• Lead and develop Video Producers, including supporting junior team members and providing feedback.
• Shape Capital's video strategy and adapt content for radio, digital, social, and other platforms.
• Build strong working relationships across video, radio, social, and digital teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing and developing junior members of a video team.
• Expert knowledge of video production techniques and workflows, including intermediate or expert use of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of advanced filming, camera operation, and lighting techniques.
• Understanding of social media platforms and how content should be adapted for each platform.
• Professional, collaborative, proactive, and innovative approach to video production.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with Sony FX3, FX6, or A7 cameras.
