Publishing Production Controller

Location: Full-time onsite at the UK headquarters in Nottingham.

What you will do

• Create and maintain production schedules for around 50 studio colleagues.
• Lead regular in-person progress meetings and communicate schedule changes clearly.
• Forecast short- and long-term capacity, identify resource risks, and escalate issues.
• Convert graphic design briefs into print specifications using book-publishing expertise.
• Coordinate physical product tendering with the Buying Team and manage supplier samples through approval.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to solve production and delivery challenges.

• Strong understanding of the book production process.
• Excellent scheduling, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
• Solution-focused, adaptable, credible, and collaborative working style.
• Meticulous attention to detail and clear, proactive communication.
• Availability to work full time onsite in Nottingham, UK.
