Flight Operations Engineer (UAV)

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and support UAV flight tests and operational demonstrations.
• Prepare aircraft, payloads, and ground control systems for flight operations.
• Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and ensure compliance with aviation and safety procedures.
• Analyze flight data, evaluate aircraft and mission-system performance, and document test results and operational findings.
• Support validation and verification of hardware, software, and system releases, including anomaly investigation and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Success teams on troubleshooting, customer training, acceptance testing, and field operations.

Requirements

• Experience in UAV operations, flight testing, aerospace engineering, or aviation-related environments.
• Understanding of aircraft systems, flight operations, mission planning, safety procedures, and operational risk management.
• Experience with UAV ground control stations and mission management software.
• Ability to analyze technical data and prepare clear operational reports.
• Hands-on technical mindset with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Professional fluency in English and Romanian is required; willingness to travel for field operations is expected.

• Drone pilot certification or aviation-related qualifications.
