Senior Finance Business Partner (Fintech)

Location: London office, hybrid working; distributed working is available within the UK with at least one day per week in the London office

Salary: £84,200–£99,000 plus performance-related incentive awards

What you will do

• Partner with senior business leaders on commercial projects, product performance and day-to-day business support.
• Manage and analyse P&L and balance sheet performance for Flex Credit cards, Loans and Overdraft portfolios.
• Identify trends, growth opportunities and profitability improvements through scenario analysis and data insights.
• Scope new markets and products, develop commercial business cases and negotiate with partners.
• Present investment recommendations and collaborate with engineering, legal, risk, product, strategy and marketing stakeholders.
• Design decision-making processes and support the development of financial analysts.

Requirements

• Experience in financial business partnering with senior business leaders and influencing commercial decisions.
• Experience evaluating revenue-generating projects and building, presenting and debating business cases.
• Strong financial modelling skills using advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Background in retail banking; understanding of credit is preferred, with experience using NPV and ROE frameworks.
• Ability to work hands-on, manage detail and develop efficient financial processes.

Nice to have

• Comfort pulling and analysing data with SQL or Python.
• Understanding of credit products.
