Treasury Analyst (Fintech)

Treasury Analyst (Fintech): Supporting bank treasury operations across liquidity management, IRRBB, FTP reporting, HQLA activity, cash forecasting, and wholesale funding with an accent on accurate management information and regulatory processes. Focus on preparing liquidity reports, monitoring cash positions, improving Treasury systems with SQL, and coordinating complex cross-functional reporting.

Location: Hybrid in London, with attendance at the London office 2–3 days per week. Working from abroad is available for up to 120 days per year, subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.

What you will do

• Support Senior Treasury Managers with liquidity management, IRRBB, FTP reporting, HQLA activity, TMS management, and wholesale funding activities.
• Produce and circulate daily management information and prepare monthly ALCO packs and reports.
• Monitor cash balances, execute timely cash movements, and prepare short-term cashflow forecasts.
• Attend ALCO meetings, take minutes, and maintain action logs.
• Prepare monthly loan sales reports and support ongoing compliance activities, including RCSA updates.
• Improve Finance and Treasury systems and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting, Risk & Compliance, IT, Operations, and Legal.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of demonstrable Treasury experience in a bank or building society.
• Awareness of policies and standards governing Treasury activities.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with Excel, ALMIS, SQL, Tableau, and Anaplan, with willingness to learn additional tools including AI.
• Ability to analyse statistical data, prepare comprehensive reports, and work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Strong interest in fintech and the broader financial services industry.
