What you will do

• Manage branch activities, operations, customer and employee experience, digital engagement, servicing, and sales.
• Direct sales and business development activities to achieve profitability and annual branch goals.
• Lead, coach, develop, interview, and manage branch employees.
• Identify customer needs and grow Retail and Business Banking relationships through proactive outreach and community engagement.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and resolve complex account servicing and error-resolution issues.
• Maintain compliance, security, fraud-prevention, internal-control, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet, and email tools.
• Maintain federal SAFE Act registration requirements and meet applicable insurance licensing and Business Banking Specialist expectations.
