Sr. Contracts Analyst

Location: US - Atlanta, GA; hybrid position with office attendance determined by the hiring manager.

Salary: $109,800–$175,700 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Draft and drive complex commercial agreements, including merchant acceptance agreements, master service agreements, and Signature account agreements.
• Manage contracts from approved financial proposals through completion and support the resulting business relationships.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Product, Sales, and other stakeholders to develop contracts consistently and secure timely approvals.
• Provide guidance on contract terms and advocate for internal stakeholders while managing commercial risks and business objectives.
• Support special assignments, ad hoc reporting, and strategic process-efficiency improvements.
• Travel approximately 5–10% of the time and work varying hours based on department needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 2 years with an advanced degree; preferred profile includes 6+ years with a bachelor's degree or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
• 2–3+ years of commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience, with previous hands-on contract drafting experience required.
• Degree or J.D. from an accredited law school and experience in a large corporation, Fortune 500 company, or law firm preferred.
• Strong understanding of the payments industry, payment services, credit and debit processing, financial institutions, fintech, and related legal or regulatory matters.
• Strong analytical, writing, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, multitasking, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required; familiarity with Salesforce, iCertis, DocuSign, or similar tools preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with banking and financial institutions laws, antitrust and competition law, technology and digital payments.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Harvey, or Legora.
