LQA Tester (Gaming)

What you will do

• Test game localization for linguistic accuracy, natural phrasing, cultural appropriateness, and consistency.
• Identify, document, and track linguistic issues using professional bug databases.
• Verify fixes and manage the testing cycle from start to finish across indie and AAA games.
• Write and refine test cases and document testing findings.
• Collaborate with testers, translators, developers, and other project stakeholders.
• Improve LQA workflows, share knowledge, and contribute to best practices.

Requirements

• Simplified Chinese language skills and proficiency in Japanese.
• Confident written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Comfort using databases, spreadsheets, testing tools, and MS Office.
• Existing right to work in Spain is required.
• Availability to work on-site in the Madrid office.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems, test case management tools, or text editing platforms.
• Knowledge of gaming trends and gaming culture.
• A degree in linguistics or a related field.
