Customer Technical Program Manager (Data Centers)

Location: DFW01_02, United States; travel of up to 25% may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate customer pre-sales activities, contract and lease reviews, portfolio availability discussions, and technical requirements across sales, solutions architecture, delivery, design, and execution teams.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers, internal delivery and operations teams, and external design, construction, and legal stakeholders.
• Guide technical projects from pre-construction through post-delivery, keeping scope, schedules, budgets, change management, and customer communications aligned.
• Provide data center infrastructure expertise during base-build and fit-out phases, including interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, monitor KPIs, and report project performance and risks to internal and external stakeholders.
• Improve customer and delivery workflows by managing statements of work, feedback loops, post-delivery assessments, surveys, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of design or project management experience in a data center environment is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and/or AutoCAD experience, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction project scopes, cost estimating methods, scopes of work, and the impact of design and schedule changes on project costs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, organizational, time-management, multitasking, confidentiality, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, construction management, sales, delivery, operations, and customer teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Projects, Prolog, Procore, BIM 360, or similar project management software.
• Knowledge of CAD and/or Bluebeam.
• Mechanical or electrical background.
• Sales or customer-focused training.
