TL;DR
Missile Modeling and Simulation Analyst (Radar/Simulink): Updating, testing, and documenting radar missile models for foreign air and missile defense weapon systems with an accent on physics, radar operations, and model validation. Focus on converting Simulink models to C++, analyzing intelligence-derived changes, and producing technical findings for the Intelligence Community.

What you will do

  • Review, update, test, and document radar missile models based on finished all-source intelligence products.
  • Use models built in Simulink and converted to C++ to support pilot training and flight software testing.
  • Analyze model behavior and performance against technical specifications.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to government and contractor engineers and scientists.
  • Prepare technical reports for management and support Intelligence Community analysis.
  • Present findings, recommend actionable steps, and potentially provide work leadership and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • US citizenship and a TS/SCI clearance are required.
  • At least three years of experience in a related engineering field.
  • Prior experience characterizing or modeling missiles.
  • Understanding of physics, radar operations, and modeling and simulation.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, written communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Previous ITEAMS experience.
  • Experience supporting United States Government S&TI Centers.
