Senior Business Process Engineer (Institutional Services)

What you will do

• Redesign end-to-end processes across multiple Institutional Services business lines to improve efficiency, reduce expenses, and enhance client experience.
• Interview subject matter experts, process owners, and division managers to document current-state processes and design improved future-state processes.
• Assess risks, gaps, and control weaknesses, then design, implement, and maintain internal controls.
• Create governed process documentation using BPMN 2.0, Microsoft Visio, analytical tools, and standardized templates.
• Lead continuous improvement, change management, communications, training, and implementation activities.
• Develop business cases and performance measurement systems, including KPIs and KRIs, to monitor operational results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a combination of higher education and work experience totaling at least 11 years, including 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of financial services experience.
• Ability to document processes accurately and in detail using BPMN 2.0.
• Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean, or Agile.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, design, and systems-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under time constraints.

Nice to have

• At least 8 years of process improvement experience.
• Technical, finance, or business degree.
• FinTech or Corporate Trust experience.
• Risk management and Risk and Control Assessment experience.
• Experience scaling process design practices across large, complex organizations.
• AI prompt engineering experience.
