Software IVV Lead (Defence) (ISTQB/V-Model/MISRA C++): Defining and governing independent software validation and verification for high-performance unmanned systems with an accent on test strategy, requirements traceability, configuration management, and audit-ready evidence. Focus on enforcing static analysis and code coverage, supervising V-Model testing, managing defects and deviations, and approving software release candidates before hardware integration and flight testing.

What you will do
- Define and enforce software testing frameworks and QA processes based on ISTQB standards.
- Manage test environments, test data, qualified testing tools, and revision-safe test evidence.
- Oversee V-Model validation and verification, including unit, integration, and subsystem testing before hardware integration and flight testing.
- Ensure bidirectional traceability between software requirements, architecture, implementation, and test execution in collaboration with Software Configuration Management.
- Govern defect, deviation, and problem management, including systematic tracking and resolution of findings.
- Provide independent quality-gate approvals and release recommendations while leading internal assessments and external regulatory audits.
Requirements
- Experience defining and enforcing software testing frameworks and QA processes based on ISTQB standards.
- Deep expertise in validation and verification phases of the V-Model for complex software systems.
- Hands-on experience with automated static analysis and coding standards such as MISRA for C++.
- Strong knowledge of requirements traceability between software requirements and test execution.
- Solid understanding of Software Configuration Management, including version control, reproducible builds, and release auditing.
- Experience managing defects and deviations through systematic tracking and resolution.
Nice to have
- Experience in defence or aerospace with safety-critical software systems.
- Experience preparing for or leading external regulatory audits and internal quality assessments.
- Experience with flight testing operations or hardware-in-the-loop integration environments.
