Software IVV Lead (Defense)

What you will do

• Define and enforce software testing frameworks and QA processes based on ISTQB standards across software capability teams.
• Own test infrastructure, environments, test data, tooling qualification, and audit-proof test evidence.
• Oversee V-Model validation and verification, including unit, integration, and subsystem testing before hardware integration and flight testing.
• Establish requirements traceability and govern defect, deviation, and problem management processes.
• Enforce coding standards such as MISRA for C++ through static analysis and code coverage metrics.
• Provide independent quality-gate approvals, release recommendations, configuration audits, and leadership for internal and external software QA assessments.

Requirements

• Proven experience defining and enforcing software testing frameworks and QA processes based on ISTQB standards.
• Deep expertise in validation and verification for complex software systems using the V-Model.
• Hands-on experience with automated static analysis and coding standards such as MISRA for C++.
• Strong background in requirements traceability and linking software requirements to test execution.
• Knowledge of Software Configuration Management, including version control, reproducible builds, and release auditing.
• Demonstrated capability in systematic defect and deviation tracking and resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence or aerospace with safety-critical software systems.
• Experience preparing for or leading regulatory audits and internal quality assessments.
• Experience with flight testing operations or hardware-in-the-loop integration environments.
