Company

hirify.global is building an AI platform for autonomous driving that enables vehicles to learn from real-world experience and scale from L2+ to L4 automation.

What you will do

  • Develop automated system-functionality tests across component, integration, and system levels at the hardware and software boundary.
  • Design and deliver open-loop and closed-loop HIL replay tests, reliability tests, and fault-injection tests for embedded software verification.
  • Lead root-cause investigations, analyse test results, identify bugs, and document evidence in Jira.
  • Optimise Buildkite-integrated CI/CD workflows and improve HIL test infrastructure, coverage, traceability, and compliance reporting.
  • Integrate requirements, test-management, coverage, and compliance workflows using tools such as Jama, Xray, MC/DC analysis, MISRA checks, Artifactory, and Azure.
  • Define traceability dashboards, KPIs, and quality metrics to support validation and release decisions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on system verification and validation experience in robotics, embedded software, mechatronics, or automotive systems.
  • Strong Python skills and experience building automation frameworks with pytest.
  • Experience with HIL testing, open- and closed-loop replay, and interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, or GMSL; familiarity with dSPACE, Vector, Xylon, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of automotive safety and process standards including ISO 26262, ASPICE, SOTIF, ISO/SAE 21434, and UN R155.
  • Experience with embedded and system-level automotive software, CI/CD tooling, and L2+ hands-off, L3, or L4 automated driving systems.
  • Knowledge of Euro NCAP, AEB, LSS/LKA, UN R171, test dashboards, logging, reporting, and tools such as Grafana, Looker, Datadog, Jira, and Git.

Nice to have

  • Experience improving test methods, safety procedures, or operational efficiency.
  • Experience with agentic AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code for test development and debugging.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hybrid working with core hours and hands-on access to vehicle workshops and labs.
  • Learning and development budgets for training, conferences, and professional growth.
  • Health insurance, dental coverage, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, and retirement or pension benefits where applicable.
  • Access to therapists, wellbeing partnerships, and team socials.
  • Ownership in an evolving environment where processes and ways of working are still being developed.

Hiring process

  • Initial recruiter call lasting 30 minutes.
  • Competency interviews covering programming and hiring-manager topics, followed by cross-functional and system-design technical interviews.
  • Final 45-minute interview focused on mission and values alignment.
