QA Engineer (Ultimate Team)

What you will do

• Perform exploratory testing of new and existing IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate features.
• Run regression testing to maintain platform stability before releases.
• Write, maintain, and scale automated test suites.
• Reproduce user-reported issues and provide technical support for troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose bugs and share product knowledge.
• Work with product managers to assess issue priority and business impact.

Requirements

• Proven experience testing commercial software applications.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin sufficient to write test applications and read source code.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Practical familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Bazel, databases, and Docker containers.
• Experience testing software across different operating systems and basic system administration skills.
• Strong communication, independence, self-discipline, and collaborative skills.
