Senior QA Manager - Android & iOS Apps (m/f/d)

Location: Berlin, Germany; 80% office presence and 20% mobile working

What you will do

• Own the QA strategy and execution for Android and iOS applications.
• Drive scalable manual and automated testing across mobile app development.
• Design and evolve test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
• Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to safeguard product quality.
• Monitor app performance and investigate issues using Charles Proxy, Crashlytics, analytics platforms, and Jira.
• Mentor QA engineers and working students while collaborating with developers, product owners, and designers in Scrum teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in mobile app quality assurance, test automation, and agile leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Appium, TestSigma, or similar frameworks and integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with manual testing, test case creation, and QA documentation.
• Experience applying Scrum methodologies and working with Jira, Charles Proxy, and test management systems.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required; German is not required.
