Chemistry Production Specialist

Location: Onsite at the Fort Myers, Florida manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Support chemistry manufacturing, laboratory testing, validations, investigations, and new product introductions.
• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, training, and guidance to laboratory and production personnel.
• Monitor manufacturing and laboratory activities for quality, consistency, efficiency, safety, traceability, and compliance.
• Analyze process and laboratory data, perform root cause investigations, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Operate, calibrate, verify, maintain, troubleshoot, and validate laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, laboratory methods, manufacturing procedures, and training materials.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent relevant laboratory, manufacturing, quality, or scientific experience.
• At least 4 years of laboratory, manufacturing, production, quality, regulatory, or scientific operations experience.
• Experience with analytical testing, scientific experimentation, manufacturing support, laboratory methods, process controls, and quality principles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, root cause investigation, technical writing, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, train others, manage changing priorities, and collaborate across functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adherence to applicable safety practices, laws, codes, policies, and regulations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, reagent production, laboratory operations, biotechnology, microbiology, or scientific production environments.
• Experience with ISO 9001, CAPA, GMP, EHS, Lean Six Sigma, or regulated quality systems.
• Experience with chromatography, purification, spectrophotometry, assay development, analytical instrumentation, or laboratory method development.
• Spanish or other bilingual/multilingual communication skills.
