Lead Design Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead design management across the build portfolio, overseeing deliverables, consultants, and review cycles.
• Set and enforce aggressive design schedules for architect and engineer of record firms.
• Run design review processes to ensure constructability, cost-efficiency, and conformance to reference designs.
• Manage the interface between design and field teams, ensuring RFI trends drive design improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.
• Proven experience leading design management on large industrial or mission-critical programs.
• Ability to read across disciplines to identify and resolve cross-discipline gaps.
• Experience building and optimizing design review processes for speed and quality.
• Demonstrated success in holding design firms to aggressive delivery schedules.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center design programs.
• Background in owner-side design management.
• Familiarity with modular and DfMA delivery methods.
• Experience with BIM-based review workflows.
