In-House Contracts Counsel (Video Games)

Location: Remote within the United States

Target salary: $140k–$160k annually

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate inbound and outbound licensing agreements for game development, co-branding, publishing, and digital media.
• Collaborate with the licensing function to structure deals that expand brand presence while protecting intellectual property.
• Advise on marketing and promotional campaigns involving trademarks and copyrights.
• Support governance, compliance, and other corporate legal matters.
• Provide practical legal advice to product, marketing, business development, and other internal teams across global operations.
• Maintain contract templates and best-practice guidelines.

Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent law degree and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• 4–6 years of experience at a reputable corporate law firm.
• Strong experience with commercial transactions, licensing, and complex commercial agreement negotiation and drafting.
• Experience in video game or entertainment law.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and international work.
