Commercial Portfolio Manager Sr - Equipment Finance (Underwriter)

Location: Minnetonka, MN; this role can be located at any hirify.global corporate office

Salary: $63,000–$154,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation

What you will do

• Analyze and monitor the creditworthiness of assigned commercial customers and accounts.
• Underwrite new and existing loans by reviewing applications, financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.
• Spread business and personal financial statements using Moody’s software and assess multi-year trends and ratios.
• Analyze operating cash flow, industry trends, credit risks, and collateral including accounts receivable, inventory, real estate, and investments.
• Prepare approval recommendations and alternative loan structures while monitoring delinquency and repossession activity.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced analysts and lead special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, cash flow, credit reports, and collateral.
• Ability to prepare clear written credit recommendations and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
