Commercial Portfolio Manager

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of commercial customers in partnership with Relationship Managers.
• Service, deepen, and retain profitable customer relationships while evaluating business risks and opportunities.
• Own credit quality, risk monitoring, risk ratings, underwriting quality, and portfolio administration.
• Prepare written credit analyses and present proposed credit actions to the Senior Loan Committee when required.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, analyze trends, identify opportunities, and maintain knowledge of market and industry developments.
• Collaborate with senior management and regional credit teams while mentoring credit analysts, junior portfolio managers, and Relationship Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial banking.
• Experience or knowledge in credit products, risk assessment, and debt structuring.
• Ability to interact professionally with senior leadership, clients, and prospects.
• Ability to prioritize work and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Formal credit training.
• In-depth knowledge of credit products, risk assessment, and debt structuring.
