Analytics Engineer (dbt/BigQuery)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; 4 days onsite and 1 flexible day remote. Other city-based team members usually work from the Vilnius office 2–3 times per week. The role also includes the option to work from anywhere in the world for up to 2 weeks.

Salary: €2,400–€3,500 gross per month

What you will do

• Build and maintain data models within Moerie’s data infrastructure and hirify.global’s data framework.
• Use dbt, BigQuery, and Looker to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
• Maintain clean and reliable data flows through the transformation layer.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analytics engineers, project owners, marketing, and management.
• Contribute to data-quality testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Provide data that supports operational and business decisions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a data or analytics role.
• Background in mathematics, statistics, economics, econometrics, computer science, or a relevant training program.
• Strong SQL skills, including joining and manipulating strings, integers, JSON, and arrays; writing parameterized scripts; and debugging SQL.
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool, preferably Looker.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts such as dimensional modeling, grain, fact tables, and dimension tables.
• Fluent English and Lithuanian, plus the ability to explain data and findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt or similar ETL/ELT tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
