Location: Fully remote within Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, or Poland. EU citizenship or a valid work permit is required. The role includes a one-week ROTA rotation with availability until 23:00–24:00 for EOD incident troubleshooting and resolution.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and improve data ingestion, processing, storage, and sharing systems across cloud and legacy DWH environments.
• Build and optimize AWS and Oracle DB data architectures for performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow, dbt, and SAP Data Services.
• Support Data Mesh, Data Products, Medallion architecture, and modernization of legacy data systems toward cloud platforms.
• Implement data workflow monitoring and alerting, perform code reviews, troubleshoot software, and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders in a cross-functional Agile team supporting banking needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and data pipeline tools such as Airflow or dbt.
• Working knowledge of Oracle DB, SAP IQ, SAP Data Services, and SAP Business Objects.
• Knowledge of real-time, message-based, and event-driven integrations, including connections between legacy systems and modern data platforms.
• Experience with test automation, DevOps, infrastructure as code, security practices, CI/CD, SDLC, Data Products, Medallion architecture, and Data Mesh.
• Fluent English is required, along with EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Banking or customer business domain experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL and NoSQL databases, or Java development.
