Decision Scientist (Trust & Safety)

Location: Hybrid work; 2 days in the office are recommended but not enforced. Workation is available for up to 90 days per year, including up to 21 days outside the EU.

Salary: €67,700–€91,500 gross per year

What you will do

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to support product discovery and strategic decisions with data.
• Analyze trade-offs between account security controls and member friction.
• Define tracking requirements, design A/B tests, and evaluate the impact of new verification methods.
• Define and monitor Account Verification KPIs, investigate anomalies, and identify root causes.
• Build and maintain self-service Looker dashboards for feature performance monitoring.
• Contribute to the Data Science & Analytics community by promoting analytical best practices and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

• Experience in Decision Science or Data Analytics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Working experience with SQL and Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of statistical methods including A/B testing, regression analysis, and inferential techniques.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Trust & Safety or fraud-related areas.
