Decision Scientist (Security)

Location: Hybrid work with two recommended office days per week; remote workation is available for up to 90 days per year in the EU, with limited global workation days.

Annual gross salary: €53,900–€72,900, excluding 8% holiday pay.

What you will do

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to support data-informed product decisions.
• Analyze trade-offs between account security controls and member friction.
• Define tracking requirements, design A/B tests, and evaluate their business impact.
• Define and monitor Account Verification KPIs, investigate anomalies, and identify root causes.
• Build and maintain self-service Looker dashboards for feature performance monitoring.
• Share analytical best practices through the Data Science & Analytics community.

Requirements

• Experience in Decision Science or Data Analytics.
• Working experience with SQL and Python or R.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of statistical methods, including A/B testing, regression analysis, and inferential techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Trust & Safety or fraud-related work.
