Senior Data Engineer (SQL/dbt)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: €4,000–€5,000 gross per month, plus short-term and, where applicable, long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve data pipelines, models, and datasets for reporting, billing reconciliation, and operational planning.
• Analyze customer behavior, product usage, and service trends to support Sales and Product decisions.
• Lead billing and inventory reconciliation across internal and external data sources.
• Create discrepancy reporting and alerting workflows.
• Develop governed data foundations for advanced analytics, automation, and future AI use cases.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, and Data Center Operations to deliver scalable data solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience building structured data transformations and automated workflows.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, QuickSight, Power BI, or similar data and analytics platforms.
• Experience reconciling inconsistent or incomplete data from multiple systems.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS-based data platforms and related tooling.
• Background in billing, inventory, compliance, or operational control processes.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or data foundation initiatives.
