What you will do

• Manage an allocated portfolio of clients and prepare bookkeeping entries, financial statements, and management accounts for complex entities.
• Prepare and review investment, cash, bank, and other complex reconciliations, working papers, checklists, and client deliverables.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and provide accounting support for clients across multiple jurisdictions.
• Liaise with clients and appointed auditors to deliver accurate outputs within agreed deadlines.
• Review junior team members’ work and support coaching, training, motivation, and day-to-day development.
• Prepare budgets, support ad hoc accounting projects, and promptly escalate client issues to management.

Requirements

• Fully qualified ACCA or ACA, a first degree in accounting, or equivalent relevant finance and accounting experience.
• 4–6 years of experience preparing client accounts.
• Experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, preferably with exposure to capital markets, real estate, or private equity.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; knowledge of UK GAAP and other accounting frameworks is advantageous.
• Strong accounting, organisational, communication, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to lead and coach a small team and work accurately under pressure.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of real estate accounting.
• Experience with Efront, Navision, ViewPoint, or Value Financials.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP or other relevant accounting frameworks.
