Mortgage Loan Officer - Denver, CO (Mortgage Lending)

Location: Denver, CO, United States; office-based

Salary: $10.00–$11.54 per hour, plus applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage loan business.
• Advise clients on mortgage loan options and related financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Provide customer service from loan approval through closing.
• Work with loan origination sources to secure and verify information required for underwriting.
• Assist customers with completing loan applications and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably in a bank.
• Current NMLS license required.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Existing pipeline and book of business.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio mortgage programs.
• Experience identifying opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services.
• PC and internet skills.
