Data Governance Analyst (Remote)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop comprehensive data governance policies for data owners, data consumers, and personnel using Collibra EDC, DQ, Immuta, and related documentation sources.
• Create and maintain PowerApps, SharePoint and Microsoft Forms, SharePoint pages, Confluence pages, Microsoft Word documents, and other policy formats.
• Design and manage the DataGov SharePoint and Confluence structure and maintain its content.
• Gather information from data owners, vendors, technical teams, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Support security, compliance, ATO, audit, release, operational readiness, and governance documentation.
• Participate in technical working sessions, demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and SME interviews to capture processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint.
• Experience working with engineers, architects, cybersecurity professionals, developers, and technical SMEs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Veterans Affairs, federal government, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with cloud or enterprise data platforms, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Databricks, DevSecOps, or cloud provisioning.
• Experience with ServiceNow, GitHub, Agile/SAFe delivery, ATO, cybersecurity, audit, risk, governance, or compliance documentation.
